The publication of articles in Integrativa: Journal of Management, Applied Science, and Technology is based solely on scientific quality, methodological validity, and academic coherence as assessed by the editors and peer reviewers. The peer review process aims to ensure that every published article makes a meaningful contribution to the advancement of knowledge and applied practices in management, science, and technology.

Integrativa professionally values the time, expertise, and constructive feedback provided by reviewers in maintaining the quality of scholarly publications.

Initial Manuscript Evaluation (Desk Review)

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editor. At this stage, the editor assesses the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, scientific merit, and compliance with the author guidelines.

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements, contain substantial scientific weaknesses, or fall outside the journal’s scope will be rejected at this stage. Manuscripts that meet the minimum criteria will proceed to the peer review stage.

Type and Mechanism of Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the desk review are evaluated by two to three independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s topic. The review process follows a blind peer review method, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity and independence.

Reviewers are requested to assess the scientific rigor of the manuscript as well as the clarity and significance of its contribution to the relevant field of study.

Review Report

During the review process, reviewers are asked to evaluate the following aspects:

  • Scientific validity and accuracy of the manuscript content

  • Clarity of research problem formulation and objectives

  • Appropriateness of research design and methodology

  • Accuracy of terminology, procedures, and data analysis

  • Significance and contribution of the research findings

  • Level of originality and practical or theoretical implications

  • Completeness and accuracy of references

  • Clarity of result presentation and consistency with conclusions

  • Compliance with publication ethics principles and guidelines

Reviewers are not responsible for language editing or rewriting the manuscript. Language improvement remains the responsibility of the authors.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ reports and recommendations, the editor will make an editorial decision, which may include acceptance without revision, acceptance with revision, or rejection. In certain cases, the editor may consult members of the Editorial Board before making a final decision.

The editorial decision is final and will be communicated to the authors through the Open Journal System (OJS).
